E.C. Styberg Engineering Company is Hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer Near Racine, WI
- Drive cost savings through Lean Manufacturing processes such as Six Sigma methodology and Kaizen and various process improvement tactics.
- Analyze and evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify gaps in our production process and develop solutions to optimize our manufacturing process.
- Assess compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards, report/document, and propose solutions as appropriate.
- Create and manage process documentation and operating instructions through performing process simulations, risk assessment, and testing to eliminate time and cost constraints.
- Estimating production costs
- Assist in designing and planning equipment layout
- Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field or 5 years of experience working as a Manufacturing Process Engineer
- 2 years of experience working in a metal fabrication environment
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
- Experience with process simulations and developing standard operating procedures
- Skilled at utilizing CAD and AutoCAD software
- The position requires excellent analytical and math skills
- Must have strong project management and analytical thinking skills
- Salary is negotiable based on experience, please include salary expectations when submitting your application
- This position is 100% onsite at our manufacturing plant in Racine, WI, and is not a remote work opportunity
